Kinokellari

Every fall and spring, Kinokellari offers an interesting and versatile collection of 10 movies at Promenadikeskus.

Tickets

Films are shown on Wednesdays at 16 o’clock in Finnkino’s auditorium 5, Promenadikeskus (Yrjönkatu 17). Please note that longer films may have a different starting time.

Ticket sales starts half an hour before the film begins, and are sold at 5€. Tickets are sold in front of
auditorium 5. Tickets can be paid with cash or a debit card. Please notice that if you’re
paying in cash, we cannot accept banknotes higher than 20 euros.

You can claim a ticket with a youth card according to the film’s age limit. When purchasing the ticket, please show your Tiäksää-, Ekstiä- or Kaistiät-pass.

History of Kinokellari

Kinokellari has offered quality movies to the public from 1978. In addition to the matinée progam, Kinokellari has taken film to those who can’t come to the movies so easily. Children’s films have been shown at suburbs in different parts of Pori, and to elderly people Kinokellari has shown old Finnish films and documentaries about life in the old times.

Kinokellari is a part of city of Pori’s film activity, and administratively it belongs to Kruunupää Centre for Children’s Culture.
